We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Custom Report feature in FLS Cloud. This new tool puts the power of data analysis back in your hands, allowing you to build, view, and export reports that look exactly the way you want them to.
What is the Custom Report Feature?
The Custom Report is a dynamic reporting engine located directly within your FLS Cloud dashboard. Unlike standard reports that have fixed columns and layouts, the Custom Report allows you to choose from over 52 data points to build a grid that answers your specific questions.
Whether you are a nutrition consultant needing specific dry matter intake numbers, or a feedlot owner looking at high-level financial break-evens, this tool adapts to you.
To launch the tool, go to: Reports → Custom Report
After you click the Custom Report menu, this screen will appear.
How It Works: Your Data, Your Way
Using the Custom Report is intuitive. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to build your first report:
1. Select Your Scope
Navigate to Reports > Custom Report. On the sidebar, you can filter by Customer or specific Lots. Whether you want to analyze a single pen of heifers or view performance across the entire yard, the control is yours.
2. Choose Your Columns
This is where the magic happens. We have mapped out extensive data points covering every aspect of your operation:

Inventory: Head In, Live Head, Head Sold, Death Loss %.

Weights: Avg Induction Weight, Current Weight, Lot Weight.

Performance: ADG (Average Daily Gain), Days on Feed, Feed Conversion.

Financials: Cost of Gain, Break-evens, Profit Per Head, Total Yardage Costs.
Simply use the "Available Columns" and "Selected Columns" lists to add the data you want.
3. Organize and Sort
Do you want "Days on Feed" to appear right next to "ADG"? No problem. Use the Up and Down arrows to rearrange the order of your columns. FLS Cloud remembers your preferences, so the next time you log in, your favorite report layout is waiting for you.
4. Run and Analyze
Click "Run Report" to generate an interactive grid.

Smart Aggregates: The report automatically calculates totals (sums) for head counts and financials.

Weighted Averages: We don't just average the averages. The system intelligently calculates weighted averages for critical metrics like Avg Induction Weight and Cost of Gain, ensuring your data is mathematically accurate across different lot sizes.
Export to Excel or PDF
While the on-screen view is powerful, we know you often need to share this data with partners, bankers, or veterinarians.
With a single click, you can export your custom view to:
