Work Faster in FLS Cloud: 4 New Updates for Reports, Feeding, AR, and Dashboard

Written by David Wang | May 9, 2026 4:53:03 AM

FLS Cloud continues to improve around the daily work your team does most: feeding cattle, reviewing movement history, managing receivables, and checking the dashboard.

In this update, we added four practical features that make common tasks faster and clearer:

  • Pen transfers on the Lot Inventory History report
  • Edit receipt and charge entries
  • Press Enter on Add Pen Feed to post and move to the next pen
  • A new Animal Types pie chart on the Dashboard

1. Pen Transfers Now Show on the Lot Inventory History Report

The Lot Inventory History report now includes pen transfers. This means you can review cattle purchases, cattle sales, lot transfers, and pen transfers in one single report.

This is helpful when you want to understand the full movement history of a lot without opening several different screens.

How to use it

  1. Open Lot Inventory History.
  2. Select the lot or lots you want to review.
  3. Check Display pen transfers.
  4. Preview the report.

The new Pen Transfers section displays above Lot Transfer In, so the movement history is easier to follow.

2. Edit Receipts and Charges

You can now edit eligible Receipt and Charge rows from the AR Transactions screen.

This is useful when a manually entered receipt or charge needs a correction, such as the date, reference, or amount.

To protect accounting history, only rows marked as editable can be changed. If a row is not editable, FLS Cloud will show a message instead of opening the edit window.

How to use it

  1. Go to Finance > Accounts Receivable.
  2. Select a customer.
  3. Open Transactions.
  4. Select one receipt or charge row.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. Update the date, reference, or amount.
  7. Click OK.

3. Press Enter on Add Pen Feed to Post and Move to the Next Pen

The Add Pen Feed screen now supports a faster keyboard workflow.

When you press Enter, FLS Cloud can post the feed and automatically move to the next pen. This helps reduce mouse clicks when you are entering feed for multiple pens.

How to use it

  1. Open Add Pen Feed.
  2. Enter the feed information for the current pen.
  3. Press Enter.
  4. Confirm if prompted.
  5. FLS Cloud posts the feed and moves to the next pen.

4. New Animal Types Pie Chart on the Dashboard

The Dashboard now includes a new Animal Types pie chart.

This chart shows the percentage of each animal type currently in the feedyard. It gives you a quick visual summary of your current cattle mix without running a separate report.

How to use it

  1. Open the Dashboard.
  2. Click Refresh if the dashboard data is out of date.
  3. Review the Animal Types chart.

The Dashboard also displays a Last updated date and time. If the dashboard has not been refreshed in more than 24 hours, FLS Cloud will let you know the data may be out of date.

Why These Updates Matter

These improvements are small but practical. They are designed to save time during the daily work your team already does in FLS Cloud.

With these updates, you can:

  • Review cattle purchases, sales, lot transfers, and pen transfers in one report
  • Edit eligible receipts and charges when corrections are needed
  • Post feed faster from the Add Pen Feed screen
  • See your feedyard animal type mix directly from the Dashboard
