Most reports in FLS Cloud start with a few choices: a lot, a customer, a date range, an interest rate, a box to print lot transfers. If you run the same Closeout every week, you pick the same lot and the same options every time. Reports also used to start running as soon as the page opened. You could wait for a report you never meant to run, then change one setting and wait again.
Remembered Report Settings fixes both. Each report now opens with the settings you last ran it with. It waits for you to click Preview before it runs.
When you run a report, FLS Cloud saves the settings you chose for that report. The next time you open it, those settings are already filled in.
Every report keeps its own settings. What you chose on the Closeout does not change what the Cattle Sales report opens with. Only settings you can see and change are saved. Settings FLS Cloud handles for you, such as Imperial or Metric units, keep working as before.
A report no longer runs by itself when you open the page, even when every setting is already filled in. Instead, the settings panel opens and shows The report may now be previewed. Look over the settings, then click Preview.
This saves you from waiting on a large report you opened only to change the lot. The Preview button now appears on every report. That includes reports such as Pen Inventory by Pen, which update by themselves when you change a setting.
