More Control for Each Pen
We made a small but useful update to the Pen setup screen in FLS Cloud.
Previously, the old On Pasture checkbox controlled two things at the same time:
- Yardage was not charged.
- Feed Call load sheets were not generated.
That worked for some pens, but not every operation handles these settings the same way. Some users still want to charge yardage while keeping a pen out of Feed Call load sheets.
Now you can control each option separately.

What Changed?
You will now see two clear checkboxes when adding or editing a pen:
Do not charge yardage
Select this when animals in the pen should be excluded from yardage charges.
Exclude from Feed Call
Select this when the pen should not generate load sheets on Feed Call screen.
Why This Matters
This gives you more flexibility. For example, you can now:
- Charge yardage but exclude the pen from Feed Calls.
- Exclude yardage but still include the pen in Feed Calls.
- Turn both options on when needed.
What Happens to Existing Pens?
No action is required.
Pens that were previously marked On Pasture were carried forward with both new options selected, so your current setup will continue working as expected.
