You submit the first load's Move-In to CLTS, more cattle arrive later in the week, and you submit again. Each time, you have to work out which animals were already sent. You also have to check whether CLTS accepted every one of them. **Per-animal CLTS status** on the **Move-In/Out Submission** screen does that work for you. Every animal in the list shows where it stands with CLTS. Animals already sent are left out of the next submission unless you choose to include them. ## Where to find it ![](https://feedlotsolutions.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-15-2026-02-27-28-8302-PM.png?width=1183&height=843&name=image-png-Oct-15-2026-02-27-28-8302-PM.png) Open menu **Cattle** and choose **Move-In/Out Submission**. The menu item appears for Canadian operations, for users who can edit records. 1. Pick the **Event**: `Move-In` or `Move-Out`. The status depends on the event, so pick it first. 2. Pick the **Lot**, and a **Pen** if you only want one pen. 3. A new column, titled **Move-In** or **Move-Out**, shows each animal's status. ## What each status means - **Not submitted**: this animal has never been sent for this event. - **Submitted**: the animal was sent, and CLTS has not finished processing it yet. - **Processed**: CLTS has accepted it. Hover over the badge to see the event date. - **Failed**: CLTS rejected it. Hover over the badge to read the reason CLTS gave. Above the list, a summary line counts the lot for you, for example `110 head · 60 processed · 50 to submit`. You do not have to click **View Status** to refresh these badges. Each time you open a lot, FLS asks CLTS about any animals still marked **Submitted**. Animals CLTS has already answered for are never asked about again. The first time you open a lot, FLS also loads the animals from your earlier submissions to that lot, matched by EID. ## Submitting a pen that fills over several days Say 60 head arrive on Monday. You submit their Move-In, and CLTS processes them. On Wednesday, 50 more head arrive in the same pen. When you open the lot on Wednesday, the summary reads `110 head · 60 processed · 50 to submit`. Only the 50 new animals are ticked, so the count reads `50 of 110 head selected`. Click **Submit**, and only those 50 are sent. Animals marked **Failed** stay ticked, so a rejected animal is sent again with the next submission. If the list is long, tick **Hide processed animals** to see only the animals that still need attention. ## Move-Out includes animals already sold Cattle are often recorded as sold in FLS before their Move-Out is reported. When you pick `Move-Out`, the list now includes those sold animals, so you can report them. A `Move-In` list leaves sold animals out, including when you submit a whole lot. ## Important safeguards - If any ticked animal is already **Submitted** or **Processed**, FLS asks before sending it again. The dialog is titled **Already submitted**. If you decline, the screen shows "Submission cancelled." - Animals hidden by **Hide processed animals** stay unticked, so they are never sent by accident. - If every animal is processed and hidden, the list explains why it looks empty instead of showing a blank grid. - Changing the **Event** clears your selection, because the status for the new event is different. - Animals without an EID are not sent to CLTS. - If a submission never reached CLTS, its animals are marked **Failed** and ticked again for the next submission. - If CLTS finishes a submission but has no record of an animal in it, that animal is marked **Failed** with the message "CLTS has no record of this animal in the submission. Submit it again." - If CLTS cannot be reached, animals stay **Submitted**, and FLS asks CLTS again the next time you open the lot.   Not using FLS Cloud yet?
