That works well when the scale and your phone share a network. At the chute, there is often no network to share. **Gallagher TW3 Bluetooth** connects your Android phone or tablet straight to the scale. Pair it once, and the weight flows into FLS Cloud with no router in between. ## How to connect 1. In your **Android** device's Bluetooth settings, pair with the scale. In FLS Cloud, open **Medical Screen** or **Load Sheet** and tap the gear icon for **Settings**. 3. Choose your scale from the list. Wt.** box. Set the scale's output to Data Logger for this. **Load Sheet:** the weight updates live as the scale settles, so the loading countdown follows the load as it goes on the truck. Set the scale's output to Ruddweigh for this. Load Sheet shows whole pounds, as feed truck scales do. FLS Cloud converts the scale's units to your operation's setting, so a scale in `kg` still shows `lb` if that is what your yard uses. ## Wi-Fi or Bluetooth Both options are in the same **Gallagher Scale** list. You can use either, but only one at a time. Connecting by Bluetooth disconnects the Wi-Fi link, and the reverse. FLS Cloud remembers the last scale and how you connected, and reconnects to it when you open the next screen. ## Important safeguards - Only scales you have already **paired** are **listed**. If yours is missing, pair it in **Android's Bluetooth settings** first. - Android **12** and newer ask for Bluetooth permission the first time. The connection cannot start without it. - If the link drops, FLS Cloud retries up to **three** times, five seconds apart. It also retries when you return to the app. - If it cannot connect, you see a message to check that the scale is on, paired and in range. - To stop the app reconnecting, disconnect the scale yourself. - The tag number the scale **sends** with a weight is **ignored**.
